BOLINGBROOK

AUGUST 16

Officers were called to Lot D of Fernwood Drive for the report of a battery. Unknown subjects exited a vehicle and punched the victim in the face several times at 2:54 p.m.

Paul Townsend, 51, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop on the 300 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive at 7:08 p.m.

AUGUST 17

Luciano Zepeda, 38, of Bolingbrook, was charged with improper turn at intersection, no valid driver’s license, no insurance and an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop on the 400 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive at 6:23 p.m.

AUGUST 18

Jaime Ruiz, 54, homeless, was charged with criminal trespass to property, following a call to a business on the 100 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive at 2:40 p.m.

Esmeralda Garcia, 29, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, improper lighting and no valid driver’s license, following a traffic stop at Schmidt Road and Blackhawk Lane at 12:47 a.m.

Ervin Murry, 29, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop on the 400 block of S. Joliet, Road at 9:53 p.m.

AUGUST 19

Tony Gonzales, 57, of Bolingbrook, was charged with failure to reduce speed and DUI, following a traffic stop at Boughton and Weber roads at 12:51 p.m.

Andre Johnson, 20, of Bolingbrook, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to a vehicle, following an incident that occurred on the 1700 block of W. Boughton Road at 8:20 a.m.

Carlos Redmond, 21, of Bolingbrook, was charged with two in-state warrants, on the 200 block of Thornhurst Road at 3:25 p.m.

AUGUST 20

Ricardo Garcia, 37, of Bolingbrook, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage and improper turn, following a traffic stop at Rt. 53 and Lily Cache Lane at 12:48 a.m.

Christopher Covelli, 24, of Bolingbrook, was charged with domestic battery, following an incident at the 800 block of Beech Drive at 10:24 p.m.

A glass door to a business on the 400 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive was damaged with a large rock at 2:34 a.m.

A vehicle lift gate and window were smashed out while parked on the 300 block of Pinto Drive between Aug. 19-20.

AUGUST 21

Doris Hunter, 53, of Woodridge, was charged with DUI, driving too fast for conditions, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident following a traffic stop on the 600 block of Preston Drive at 7:54 p.m.

Unknown subject spray-painted the doors of a vehicle parked on the 500 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive sometime overnight.

AUGUST 22

Jasmine Brown, 29, of Bolingbrook, was charged with residential burglary, theft and fraud, following an incident on the 500 block of W. Briarcliff Road at 3:19 p.m.

AUGUST 23

Sharita Williams, 31, of Bolingbrook, was charged with illegal texting while driving and driving on a suspended license, following a traffic stop on the 300 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive at 12:18 a.m.

ROMEOVILLE

JULY 28

Timothy Coffman, 27, of Romeoville, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. in the 200 block of Linden for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug equipment.

JULY 29

Jacob Legear, 23, of Romeoville, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. in the area of Hamrick and Linden for an in-state warrant.

Marina Lopez, 19, of Joliet, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. in the area of Hamrick and Linden for possession of a controlled substance, possession drug equipment, failing to signal and disobeying traffic sign.

AUGUST 5

Tramain Brown, 22, of Chicago, was arrested at 1:58 a.m. in the 1300 block of Marquette Drive for DUI and no insurance.

AUGUST 6

Mirian Tobias, 27, of 154 Coreopsis Ct., Romeoville, was arrested at 4:19 a.m. in the area of Weber and Taylor roads for DUI, improper lighting and no insurance.

Branden Leach, 21, of Romeoville, was arrested at 9:18 p.m. in the 900 block of Romeo Road for an in-state warrant.

AUGUST 8

Giorgi Eliashvili, 20, of Joliet, was arrested at 9:39 p.m. in the area of Taylor and Paragon for reckless driving, speeding, no insurance, disobeying a traffic signal and having only one headlight.

AUGUST 9

Darius Benard, 36, of Oswego, was arrested at 9:11 p.m. in the 1400 block of Enterprise Drive for burglary, theft over $500 and criminal trespass to property.

Gregory Rounds, 41, of Spring Valley, was arrested at 9:11 p.m. in the 1400 block of Enterprise Drive for burglary, theft over $500, criminal trespass to property and possession of burglary tools.

AUGUST 11

Kyaire Mohammed, 19, of Calumet City, was arrested at 4:52 a.m. in the 0-100 block of South Weber for an in-state warrant and illegal consumption of alcohol.

John Wilson, 20, of Plainfield, was arrested at 4:52 a.m. in the 0-100 block of South Weber for illegal consumption of alcohol.

At 2:55 p.m., a 17-year-old juvenile was arrested in the 1000 block of Schmidt Road for battery.

Alex Lozano, 18, of of Plainfield, was arrested at 11:48 p.m. in the area of Stonebrook and Dollinger for possession of cannabis and drug equipment.

At 11:48 p.m., a 16-year-old juvenile was arrested in the area of Stonebrook and Dollinger for possession of cannabis, obstructing an officer and curfew.

AUGUST 12

Kevin Luna, 23, of Romeoville, was arrested at 2:57 a.m. in the 600 block of Fenton for an in-state warrant.

Steven Baker, 31, of Phoenix, was arrested at 7:31 a.m. in the 1300 block of Normantown for motor vehicle theft, theft over $500, driving with a suspended license and in-state warrant.

Alejandro Grajeda, 32, of Romeoville, was arrested at 8:42 p.m. in the area of Airport Road and Richfield Trail for DUI, obstructing identification, no insurance and failure to yield for pedestrian.

Kevin Harris, 20, of Romeoville, was arrested at 11:24 p.m. in the area of Wespark Parkway and Wespark Circle for in-state warrant, no rear registration plate light and no insurance.

AUGUST 13

Alexus Zepeda, 21, of Joliet, was arrested at 1:23 a.m. in the 1200 block of Windham Parkway for criminal damage to property.

AUGUST 14

Pablo Cruz, 45, of Romeoville, was arrested at 9:28 a.m. in the 1000 block of Romeo Road for an in-state warrant.

AUGUST 15

A criminal defacement of property was reported in the area of McKool and Grodon. Unknown person(s) damaged two stop signs and a handicapped child sign. Estimated cost to remove the graffiti is $70.

Tricia Cramer, 41, of Plainfield, was arrested at 7:25 a.m. in the area of Weber and Taylor roads for no valid driver’s license and failure to signal.

Enrique Lugo, 43, of Cicero, was arrested at 5:43 p.m. in the area of Weber Road and I-55 ramp for no valid driver’s license, no insurance and driving too fast for conditions.

Adam Thomas, 22, of Oswego, was arrested at 10:43 p.m. in the area of Troxel and Murphy for delivery and manufacture of cannabis, possession of cannabis, possession of drug equipment, unlawful use of a weapon and disobeying a stop sign.

Eric Carter, 35, of Chicago, was arrested near at 11:14 p.m. in the area of Normantown and Weber roads for no valid driver’s license and no rear registration light.

AUGUST 16

Johnetta Taylor, 30, of Plainfield, was arrested near at 10:23 p.m. in the area of Taylor and Budler roads for no valid driver’s license and disobeying a traffic sign.

Officers responded to Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Road, for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject concealed three bottles of alcohol and exited the store at 4:22 p.m. Loss valued at $120.

Crystal Ponce, 31, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant at 12:43 p.m.

SEPTEMBER 9

Arturo Pantoja, 36, of Bolingbrook, was charged with improper lane usage, no insurance, no valid driver’s license and five counts of DUI, following a traffic stop on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive at 11:57 p.m.

Carlos Hernandez, 24, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Rt. 53 and 83rd St. at 7:17 p.m.

SEPTEMBER 10

Officers responded to a business on the 100 block of W. Boughton Road for the report of an active alarm at 3:29 a.m. The glass window was broken and several pairs of clippers were taken. Loss/ damage valued at $936.

Officers responded to Meijer, 225 N. Weber Road, for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject placed numerous over the counter medications in a cart and exited the store at 11:21 pm without rendering payment Loss valued at $1088.

SEPTEMBER 11

Russell Blake, 51, Smithers Fayette, W.Va., was charged with aggravated battery, following an incident on the 1700 block of Remington Blvd. at 5:07 p.m. The victim was transported for their injuries.

A tire was slashed to a vehicle parked on the 700 block of E. Boughton Road between 9 p.m.–1:10 a.m.

SEPTEMBER 12

Two granite countertops were removed from a residence under construction on the 100 block of Creekside Drive. Loss valued at $1000.

Officers responded to Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Road, for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject concealed several bottles of alcohol and exited the store at 6:14 p.m. Loss valued at $330.

Three, 6-volt batteries were removed from trailers parked on the 1200 block of Disk Drive between 5:40–5:50 a.m. Loss valued at $450.

Officers responded to Petland, 744 E. Boughton Road, for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject concealed a live ferret in purse and exited the store without rendering payment at 8:13 p.m. Loss valued at $199.

Officers responded to Kohl’s, 1138 W. Boughton Road, for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject concealed several articles of clothing and exited the store at 8:16 p.m. Loss valued at $176.

Eric Richardson, 18, of Bolingbrook, was charged with retail theft and resisting a peace officer, following a call to the 100 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive at 8:10 p.m.

SEPTEMBER 13

Kieona Jackson, 30, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Boughton Road and Brookwood Lane at 8:55 p.m.

Jaden Miller, 18, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant following a patrol stop on the 200 block of Flagstaff Drive at 1:14 p.m.

AUGUST 15

Christian Sevilla, 22, of Minooka, was arrested at 2:12 p.m. in the 400 block of South Weber Road for retail theft.

AUGUST 18

Paula Gapen, 54, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 10:18 p.m. in the 400 block of Kingston Drive for criminal damage to property and criminal trespass to property.

AUGUST 20

Henry Major, 51, of Riverdale, was arrested at 3:21 a.m. in the 1300 block of Lakeside for criminal trespass to property.

AUGUST 21

Latrel Jackson, 20, of Romeoville, was arrested at 6:54 p.m. in the 0-100 block of South Weber Road for battery.

AUGUST 23

Travanti Williams, 33, of Berwyn, was arrested at 12:12 p.m. in the 300 block of Independence for identity theft.

Fernando Sanchez, 27, of Crest Hill, was arrested at 5:28 p.m. in the area of Weber and Taylor for driving with a revoked license, expired registration and three in-state warrants.

Wesley Williams, 30, of Joliet, was arrested at 9:18 a.m. in the area of Alexander and Townhall for no valid driver’s license, no insurance, disobey traffic sign and improper use of registration.

Kimberly Miller, 50, of Lockport, was arrested at 3:32 p.m. in the 400 block of South Weber Road for retail theft.

Maria Amaya, 47, of Romeoville, was arrested at 4:17 p.m. in the area of Airport and Weber for driving on a suspended license and illegal use of cell phone.

AUGUST 25

A retail theft was reported at 11:52 a.m. in the 0-100 block of South Weber Road. An unknown person took six, 12-packs of an energy drink valued at $119.94 from the business.

AUGUST 29

Branden Leach, 21, of Romeoville, was arrested at 1:54 p.m. in the 200 block of Williamsburg Court for burglary from motor vehicle.

SEPTEMBER 14

A rear business door had the lock damaged on the 1100 block of W. Boughton Road sometime overnight.

Kayla Mckenzie, 18, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop on the 300 block of Brookview Ln. at 3:31 p.m.

SEPTEMBER 15

Unknown subject placed several bottles of alcohol in a shopping cart at Meijer, 225 N. Weber Rd., and exited the store at 6:05 p.m. without rendering payment. Loss valued at $557.

A Nissan Versa was taken from a business parking lot on the 100 block of Remington Blvd. at 7:30 p.m.

SEPTEMBER 16

Playground equipment was spray-painted with graffiti on the 400 block of E. Briarcliff Rd. sometime overnight.

Several credit cards were removed from unlocked vehicles parked on the 400 block of Delaware Cir. sometime overnight.

SEPTEMBER 17

A Jeep Cherokee was taken from a driveway on the 400 block of Rockhurst Rd. sometime overnight.

SEPTEMBER 18

An unknown offender cut the lock off the back of a trailer parked on the 100 block of S. Joliet Rd. and removed 44 high-end unassembled bikes from the container.

Three unknown subjects selected numerous men’s shirts and ran out the door of Macy’s, 645 E. Boughton Rd., at 3:45 p.m. Loss valued at $1500.

SEPTEMBER 19

Donte Jones, 30, of Bolingbrook, was charged with in-state warrant, following a call to lot D of Fernwood Dr. at 5:55 p.m.

SEPTEMBER 20

A handgun was taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 700 block of Lindsey Ln. sometime overnight.

A wallet was taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 200 block of Hadleigh Rd. sometime overnight.

Rachel Tuszynski, 29, of Bolingbrook, was charged with criminal damage to property, criminal defacement to state property and theft, following an incident of graffiti at several locations.

The owner of a garage in the 8500 block of North Olcott Avenue reported on that someone tried to forcibly enter the building, police said.

A resident of an apartment in the 8000 block of Foster Lane returned home on to find a laptop computer and jewelry missing, police said.

A wallet and keys were reported stolen from a locker on the 900 block of Civic Center Drive on, police said.

Several residences on Wagon Wheel Court had graffiti spray-painted on garage doors, sidings and driveways sometime overnight.

A front door to a residence on the 400 block of Sauk Lane was kicked in between Sept. 26-Sept. 28.

SEPTEMBER 29

A 2016 Jeep was taken from a driveway on the 600 block of Maple Trail sometime overnight.

Officers were called to Meijer, 225 N Weber Road, for the report of a retail theft. Two unknown subjects entered the store at 5:21 am, selected numerous packages of allergy medications and exited the store without rendering payment. Loss valued at $1320.

Muhammad Mostafa, 35, of Bolingbrook, was charged with two counts of DUI and improper backing, following a traffic stop at Standish Court and Beaconridge Drive at 5:40 p.m.

Jonathon Brown, 31, of Chicago, was charged with two in-state warrants, following a traffic stop at Schmidt Road and Briarcliff Road at 7:19 p.m.

Adrian Murphy, 34, of Bolingbrook, was charged with improper lighting, driving on a suspended license, unlawful use/possession of weapon by a felon and unlawful possession firearm/ammunition and no firearm owner’s identification card, following a traffic stop at Boughton Road and I-355 at 8:52 p.m.

Jaime Carpio-Ruiz, 54, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant and criminal damage to property, following a patrol stop on the 100 block of Lily Cache Lane at 12:23 p.m.

A 2011 Camry was taken from a driveway on the 1400 block of Schoenherr Avenue sometime overnight. It was later located on Somerfield Drive

Officers were called to the 500 block of Thomas Road, for the report of a burglary to motor vehicle. A wallet was taken and the victim’s credit cards were used at local businesses.

A vehicle parked on the 600 block of Birchwood Drive, was rummaged through sometime overnight. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Recreation Drive for the report of an armed robbery. Unknown subject approached the victim near the park, displayed a gun and took the victim’s wallet at 9:59 p.m.

Stephan Fisher, 34, of Bolingbrook, was charged with battery, following an altercation on the 200 block of Edgehill Drive at 2:35 p.m.

Two unknown subjects entered Meijer, 225 N. Weber Road, at 12:36 a.m., placed numerous over the counter medications in shopping baskets and exited the store without rendering payment. Loss valued at $1200.

A wallet was taken while the victim was having lunch at Portillo’s, 134 E. Boughton Road, at 4:30 p.m.

OCTOBER 3

Officers responded to a business on the 700 block of E. Boughton Road for the report of a battery. An employee was inappropriately touched by a guest at 12:24 a.m.

Officers responded to Meijer, 755 E., Boughton Road, for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject entered the store at 8 a.m. selected numerous package of razor refill blades and exited the store without rendering payment. Loss valued at $931.

A vehicle parked on the 800 block of Remington Blvd. was keyed sometime overnight.

Quanita Gray, 45, and Lori Hicks, 55, both of Joliet, were each charged with retail theft at 7:26 p.m., after being observed by store personnel leaving Kohl’s, 1001 75th Street, with stolen merchandise.

Fouzia Lechgueur, 57, of Bolingbrook was charged with retail theft at 10:54 a.m., after being observed by store personnel leaving Goodwill, 8615 Woodward Avenue, with stolen merchandise.

OCTOBER 6

Officers were called to Meijer, 225 N. Weber Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Two unknown subjects removed numerous packages of over the counter medication at 11:32 p.m. Loss valued at $1308.

OCTOBER 7

A wallet and credit cards were removed from a secured locker on the 500 block of N. Janes Ave. between 2-3 pm. Credit cards were used at nearby locations.

Officers were called to a business lot on the 400 block of W. Boughton Rd. for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject took several packages of hair extensions at 4:35 p.m. and ran from the store. Loss valued at $405.

A 2013 Dodge pick-up was removed a driveway on the 500 block of FalconRidge Way sometime overnight.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Camelot Way for the report of a burglary to motor vehicle. A piece of luggage was taken from the vehicle sometime overnight.

A Dodge Dakota pick-up was taken from a driveway from the 100 Camelot Way sometime overnight.

Prince Barajas, 24, of Plainfield, was charged with DUI and failure to reduce speed, following a traffic stop on the 300 block of S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 2:02 a.m.

OCTOBER 8

Two vehicles were taken from a driveway on the 500 block of Porter Ln. sometime overnight. One vehicle was later recovered in Chicago.

An unknown subject concealed several items in a shopping bag and exited Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd., at 9:03 a.m. without rendering payment.

A 2006 Ford F-150 was taken from a parking on Lot E of Beaconridge Dr. sometime overnight

A Toyota Camry was removed from a parking lot on Lot G of Beaconridge Dr. sometime overnight.

Alexander Cooper, 28, of Bolingbrook, was charged with disorderly conduct, following a patrol stop on lot F of Fernwood Dr. at 3 p.m.

OCTOBER 9

Officers responded to Burlington Coat Factory, 257 N. Weber Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject took a dress from a shopping cart and ran from the store at 9:06 pm. Loss value at $40.

Andrew Hintt, 27, of Freeport, and Madeline Way, 29, of Hampshire, were charged with retail theft from Menards, 290 N. Bolingbrook Dr., at 12:49 p.m.

Natasha Gums, 41, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 100 block of Enclave Cir. at 4:01 p.m.

Benigno Martinez, 36, of Bolingbrook, was charged with driving too fast for conditions, hit and run and DUI, following a traffic stop at Delaware Dr. and Boughton Rd. at 11:34 p.m.

OCTOBER 10

Rahil Shermohamed, 26, of Bolingbrook, was charged with resisting a peace officer, following a traffic stop on the 200 block of N. Bolingbrook Dr. at 1:07 p.m.

OCTOBER 11

Daniel Arnold, 44, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant at 4:57 pm.

Bryan Belke, 23, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Rd. at 1:35 p.m.

A criminal damage to property was reported at 7:21 a.m. in 0-100 block of South Weber Road. Suspect(s) broke the glass exterior door of the business.

Norman Sullivan, 29, of Lockport, was arrested at 8 a.m. in the area of Route 53 and Airport for driving with a suspended license and no insurance.

OCTOBER 4

A theft over $500 was reported at 10:13 a.m.in the 200 block of Richmond Drive. Suspect(s) took three deliveries of various clothing items from the porch of the residence. Total value of the items taken is $930.

A criminal damage to property was reported at 6:45 p.m. in the 800 block of East Romeo Road. Suspect(s) broke the front passenger window of a parked vehicle.

OCTOBER 5

A criminal damage to property was reported at 4:21 a.m. in the 400 block of Garland. Suspect(s) tore a window screen at the residence.

OCTOBER 6

A retail theft was reported at 8:01 p.m. in the 300 block of North Independence. A suspect took a bottle of liquor valued at $39.99 from the business.

OCTOBER 7

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported at 8:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Santa Fe. Suspect(s) rummaged through a parked vehicle. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

OCTOBER 8

A criminal damage to property was reported at 1:48 a.m. in the 700 block of Farragut. Suspect(s) broke the rear window of a parked vehicle.

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported at 9:10 a.m. in the 1400 block of Windflower Ct. Suspect(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and took an I-PASS and garage door opener.

A theft under $500 was reported at 12:14 p.m. in the 1200 block of Lakeview. Suspect(s) took a wallet clip containing $260 and ID cards and credit cards from an unsecured locker.

Kent Sears, 36, of Romeoville, was arrested at 5:46 p.m. in the area of Route 53 and Honeytree for driving with a revoked license, improper lane usage and in-state warrant.

OCTOBER 9

Joseph Bonomo, 44, no known address, was arrested at 9:18 a.m. in the area of 1300 Marquette Drive for an in-state warrant.

OCTOBER 10

Timothy Starks, 30, of Lockport, was arrested at 10:07 p.m. in the area of Dalhart and Normantown for no valid driver’s license and improper lighting.

Jefferson O. Gonzales, 33, of Chicago, was charged with forgery, criminal tress pass to vehicle and theft following a traffic stop in the 7100 block of Dempster. Police said Gonzales was stopped for driving a stolen vehicle found to have stolen registration. The vehicle also contained stolen checks, police said. A passenger, Jose V. Realeza, 56, of Niles, was charged with forgery, criminal tress pass to vehicle and theft. Realeza had a stolen credit card and driver’s license in his possession, police said. Other jurisdictions have since filed charges or are investigating Gonzales and Realeza.

SEPTEMBER 27

Erik Bega, 18, of Skokie, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance in the 4800 block of Peterson Avenue.

Windows were reported broken on a vacant commercial space in the 7100 block of Demspter Street.

Two dresses, sunglasses and cash were stolen overnight from an unlocked car parked on the 600 block of South Crescent Avenue, police said.

Sunglasses and a credit card were stolen from an unlocked car parked overnight on the 1400 block of Brophy Avenue, police said.

A blue recycling bin was melted by fire between Sept. 14 and Sept. 16 at Hinkley Park, 25 Busse Highway, police said.
