Bolingbrook Police Blotter: Dec. 5-13

Note to readers: Information in Police Blotter is obtained from Bolingbrook police department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office. Individuals listed in Police Blotter charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

DECEMBER 5

Unknown subjects placed numerous items in a shopping cart at Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd., and exited the store at 1:39 a.m. without rendering payment. Loss valued at $631.

Jacob Gurnitz, 24, of Warrenville, was charged with an in–state warrant, following a traffic stop at Janes Av. and 83rd St. at 7:26 p.m.

DECEMBER 6

Unknown subject cut seal to cargo trailer on the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 11:21 a.m. and removed three microwaves. Loss valued at $340.

DECEMBER 7

Officers were called to Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject placed numerous over the counter medications in a shopping bag and exited the store at 7:08 p.m. Loss valued at $1110.

DECEMBER 8

Patrick Cleary, 29, of Bolingbrook, was charged with retail theft, resisting a peace officer and possessing drug equipment, following a call to Meijer, 225 N. Weber Rd., at 8:58 p.m.

Maxwell Harper, 22, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a call to the 200 block of Sunshine Dr. for an unwanted subject at 12:04 p.m.

Officers were called to Pizza Hut, 503 W. Boughton Rd. for the report of a robbery. The victim was pushed to the ground and cash was taken on the 200 block Walker Dr. at 5:10 p.m.

A wallet was taken from a business on the 600 block E. Boughton Rd. at 3 p.m. The victim’s credit card was used. Loss valued at $220.

DECEMBER 9

Ceres Wothe, 36, of Romeoville, was charged with speeding, no insurance and two counts of DUI, following a traffic stop at Boughton Rd. and Bolingbrook Dr. at 12:29 a.m.

Johnny Wolf Jr., 23, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant at 12:40 a.m.

Tyran Cherry, 21, of Bolingbrook, was charged with speeding and DUI, following a traffic stop on the 400 block of W. Boughton Rd. at 3:02 a.m.

Officers responded to Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject’s cut security cables from several electronic items and exited the store. Loss valued at $1070.

DECEMBER 10

Paciano Solis Zaragoza, 48, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Brookview Ln. and Lily Cache Ln, at 2:11 a.m.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Rockhurst Rd. for the report of criminal damage to property. The front door was damaged between 6:45-9 p.m. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

Unknown subjects cut seal to cargo trailer and removed two scooters and a hoverboard at 6:12 am from Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Drive. Loss/damage valued at $815.

Unknown subjects concealed gift card and misc. baby items in a shopping cart and exited Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd., at 1:08 a.m. without rendering payment. Loss valued at $162.

DECEMBER 11

Paul Creghin, 48, of Bolingbrook, was charged with DUI and improper lane usage, following a traffic stop at Boughton Rd. and Joy Dr. at 1:51 a.m.

James Rogers, 30, of Lombard, was charged with five in-state warrants, following a traffic stop at Boughton Rd. and Bolingbrook Dr. at 11:30 p.m.

Luis Ugalde, 26, of Bolingbrook, was charged with violation of order of protection, following a call to the area of Camelot Ct. at 11:52 p.m.

Officers were called to a business on Gateway Ct., for the report of criminal damage to a vehicle. The key ignition was missing and wires were pulled from under the dashboard sometime overnight to a company vehicle.

A box truck was taken from a business lot on Gateway Ct. sometime overnight.

A 2003 silver Cavalier was taken from a driveway on the 700 block of Springbrook Ln. at 2:30 p.m.

DECEMBER 12

James Odame, 19, of Naperville, was charged with reckless driving and no insurance. Mohamed Zakee, 19, of Bolingbrook, was charged with driving in wrong lane, no insurance and reckless driving, following a traffic stop on the 500 block of E. Boughton Rd. at 10:29 a.m.

DECEMBER 13

Marcus Jordan, 30, of Woodridge, was charge with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Boughton Rd. and Rt. 53 at 7 p.m.
