Note to readers: Information in Police Blotter is obtained from Bolingbrook and Romeoville police departments and the Will County Sheriff’s Office. Individuals listed in Police Blotter charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

BOLINGBROOK

JUNE 15

Annette DeJohnette, 45, of Lansing, was charged with retail theft from Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 6:04 p.m.

Briana Dingillo, 21, of Romeoville, was charged with retail theft from Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., at 6:04 p.m.

JUNE 16

Kaylie Luberda, 24, of Bolingbrook was charged with retail theft from Target, 1188 W. Boughton Rd., at 1:55 p.m.

JUNE 17

A vehicle parked on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive had several windows broken out and the driver’s side door was damaged sometime around 11 a.m.

JUNE 18

A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with criminal damage to property and criminal trespass to property on the 500 block of Gary Dr. at 6:50 p.m.

JUNE 19

Tanay Caruth, 52, of Joliet, was charged with aggravated domestic battery, kidnapping, unlawful restraint, and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault on the 500 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive at 2:42 a.m.

JUNE 20

A 1999 Honda was taken from a parking lot on the 400 block of Standish Court between 2 and 6 a.m.

A wallet was removed from a purse on the 1100 block of W. Boughton Road between 11:11 a.m. – 12:06 p.m.

A wallet was removed from a purse while the victim was shopping at Meijer, 225 N. Weber Rd. between 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Billy Carson, 50, of Bolingbrook, was charged with aggravated assault and domestic battery, following a call to the residence at 8:51 p.m.

Cortize Shelton, 23, 7145 S. May St., Chicago, was charged with armed robbery, unlawful restraint and unlawful use or possession of a weapon by felon, following a call to Verizon Wireless, 224 N. Weber Road for an armed robbery at 5:31 p.m. It is an on-going investigation.

JUNE 21

Justin Jackson, 28, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Winston Drive and Monroe Road at 9:07 p.m.

ROMEOVILLE

MAY 13

Johnny Casper, 18, and Terion Piearson-Walker, 18, both of Plainfield, Draton Ratcliff, 18, of Bolingbrook were arrested at 12:28 p.m. in the 400 block of South Weber for public fighting.

Leonardo Martinez, 18, of Chicago, was arrested at 2:05 p.m. in the area of Romeo Road and Claire for failure to report an accident to police, improper lane usage, failure to yield, illegal transportation of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give information and failure to notify Secretary of State of address change.

MAY 21

Gladys Tackey-Otoo, 59, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 11:47 p.m. in the area of Weber and Romeo roads for DUI and speeding.

MAY 22

Mario Mora, 29, of Romeoville, was arrested at 3:59 p.m. in the 600 block of Lynn for criminal damage to property and an in-state warrant.

MAY 23

Gerardo Ortiz, 20, of Romeoville, was arrested at 2:40 p.m. in the area of Normantown and Weber roads for driving with a suspended license and an obstructed windshield.

MAY 24

On at 8:06 p.m., a 17-year-old juvenile was arrested in the area of Creekside and Weber roads for no valid driver’s license, speeding and no insurance.

MAY 25

Miguel Lopez, 38, of Plainfield, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. in the area of Weber and Taylor roads for no valid driver’s license and improper lane usage.

Lashawn Williams, 28, of Plainfield, was arrested at 9:49 p.m. in the area of Weber and Normantown roads for no valid driver’s license and improper use of cell phone.

Francisco Alvarado, 44, of Joliet, was arrested at 10:46 p.m. in the area of Route 53 and Taylor Road for DUI and improper lane usage.

MAY 26

Andres Alonso, 26, of Shorewood, was arrested at 7:08 p.m. in the area of Route 53 and Material Road for DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol.

MAY 28

Eddie Baker, 18, of Romeoville, was arrested at 1:21 a.m. in the 1600 block of Rose Circle for possession of cannabis.

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported at 9:43 a.m. in the 0-100 block of Kempton. Suspect(s) took a blanket, clothes and shoes from a vehicle that was parked in the street.

Sydney Allen, 20, of Romeoville, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. in the 200 block of South Weber Road for retail theft.

MAY 30

Juan Duarte, 21, of Romeoville, was arrested at 8:02 a.m. in the area of Crossroads and Veterans parkways for driving with a suspended license.

Linda Sue Dalton, 66, of Romeoville, was arrested at 9:40 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Romeo Road for failure to register as violent offender.

A criminal damage to property was reported at 10:22 p.m.in the 1100 block of Windham Parkway. Suspect(s) broke the rear window of a vehicle in the parking lot.

MAY 31

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested at 1:05 p.m. in the 300 block of South Weber Road for retail theft.

Stefan Stolarick, 27, of Lemont, was arrested at 10:14 p.m. in the area of Grand Blvd. and Anna Lane for DUI, no insurance, in-state warrant, resisting an officer, no driver’s license on person, parking where prohibited and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Daniel Driscoll, 40, of Naperville, was arrested at 10:14 p.m. in the area Grand Blvd. and Anna Lane for resisting an officer, illegal transportation of alcohol and obstructing an officer.

JUNE 1

Christopher Bailey, 29, of Romeoville, was arrested at 8:50 a.m. in the 200 block of North Weber, Bolingbrook, for two in-state warrants.

Jim Thibeault, 38, of Sandwich, was arrested at 1 p.m. in the area of Romeo Road and Emery Aveneu for DUI, driving with a revoked license, fleeing and eluding and criminal trespass to residence.

JUNE 2

A retail theft was reported at 8:28 a.m.in the 200 block of West Romeo Road. Two suspect(s) took a coffee beverage, phone charger and energy drink. The merchandise had a total value of $31.

Armando Oyarce, 49, of Romeoville, was arrested at 2:28 p.m. in the area of Weber Road and Highpoint Drive for driving with a suspended license.

JUNE 3

Shannon McKinney, 44, of Crestwood, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. in the area of Romeo Road and Route 53 for driving with a suspended license, no insurance, suspended registration, operating vehicle with suspended registration, improper use of registration and no front registration plate.

JUNE 4

A theft under $300 was reported at 7:04 p.m.in the 400 of Chalmers Court. A subject caught on video took a package that was delivered to the porch of the residence. Contents of the package were valued at $73.98.

JUNE 5

A criminal damage to property was reported at 4:19 a.m. in the 2000 block of Whitmore. Suspect(s) knocked over and damaged a mailbox at the residence.

A criminal damage to property was reported at 5:20 p.m. in the 1900 block of Somerset Drive. Suspect(s) knocked over and damaged a mailbox at the residence.

A criminal damage to property was reported at 5:58 p.m. in the 100 block of Wedgeport Court. Suspect(s) threw eggs at the garage door at the residence.

JUNE 7

Gabriel Vazquez-Gutierrez, 30, of Joliet, was arrested at 7:05 a.m. in the area of Romeo and Arsenal roads for speeding and driving with a revoked license.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested at 9:24 p.m. in the area of Weber and Airport roads for no valid driver’s license and speeding.
