Note to readers: Information in Police Blotter is obtained from Bolingbrook and Romeoville police departments and the Will County Sheriff’s Office. Individuals listed in Police Blotter charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

BOLINGBROOK

FEBRUARY 16

Jacob Hamm, 33, of Naperville, was charged with improper lane usage, DUI, no insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol, following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook and Old Chicago drives at 11:20 p.m.

Shawn Murphy, 36, of Chicago, was charged with disorderly conduct, following a call to a business on the 800 block of S. Weber Road at 5:08 p.m.

FEBRUARY 17

An iPad was taken from the front of a residence on the 800 block of Tamms Lane at 2 p.m. Loss valued at $450.

Victor Vergara, 19, of Bolingbrook, was charged with theft, on the 400 block of Devonshire Square at 7:19 p.m.

Pablo Gallegos-Hernandez, 35, of Bolingbrook, was charged with failure to signal, improper lane usage, no insurance, no valid driver’s license and DUI, following a traffic stop on the 100 block of Remington Blvd. at 2:08 a.m.

FEBRUARY 18

Roger Garner, 32, of Bolingbrook, was charged with battery; Kelly Brauer, 30, of Bolingbrook, was charged with assault; and Donte Jones, 29, of Bolingbrook, was charged with assault and violation of order of protection on the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 6:14 a.m.

FEBRUARY 19

Brandon Haynie, 30, of Bolingbrook, was charged with disorderly conduct on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Rd. at 2:07 p.m.

Teresa Meija-Dominguez, 31, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 100 block of N. Bolingbrook Dr. at 4:45 p.m.

A wallet was removed from a purse in an employee breakroom on the 600 block of E. Boughton Rd. between 11 a.m. – 3:44 p.m.

Simone O’Connell, 24, of Bolingbrook, was charged with improper lane usage, improper turn at intersection, legal transportation of alcohol, and two counts of DUI, following a traffic stop on the 1700 block W. Boughton Rd. at 1:02 a.m.

Rickey Glover, 35, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Pinecrest and Boughton roads at 4:57 p.m.

Kelsey Demarco, 46, of Bolingbrook, was charged with DUI and speeding, following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook Drive and 83rd Street at 8:47 p.m.

FEBRUARY 20

The side on a building on Lot G of Fernwood was spray-painted with graffiti between Feb. 19-20.

Officers were called to the 700 block of Westwind Drive for the report of criminal damage to property. Suspect broke a vehicle window, slashed all four tires and scratched driver’s side door at 12:55 a.m.

Anthony Qualls, 26, of Plainfield, was charged with improper turn at intersection, driving on a suspended license and an in-state warrant; and Ashley Qualls, 27, of Plainfield, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop on the 900 block of Remington Blvd. at 8:20 p.m.

Alante Samuel, 23, of Naperville, was charged with identity theft and credit card fraud, following a call to the Aloft Hotel, 709 N Janes Ave, at 11:19 p.m.

Officers responded to Macy’s, 645 E. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject selected several shirts and a jacket and exited the store at 8:38 a.m. without rendering payment. Loss valued at $396.

FEBRUARY 21

Officers were called to Red Wing Shoes, 769 E. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject took a pair of boots from display and exited the store at noon.

FEBRUARY 22

Arturas Pivoris, 32, of Bolingbrook, was charged with a warrant at 4:31 p.m.

Sabino Guzman, 18, of Bolingbrook, was charged with domestic battery, following a domestic disturbance at 12:45 p.m.

ROMEOVILLE

FEBRUARY 2

Rudy Gonzalez, 30, of Romeoville, was arrested at 8:42 p.m. in the 0-100 block of Freesia Drive for an in-state warrant.

FEBRUARY 5

At 10:52 p.m., 17-year-old juvenile was arrested for no valid driver’s license, improper lane usage, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give information and failure to report an accident to police authority.

FEBRUARY 6

Elbert Smith, 51, of Romeoville, was arrested at 4:06 a.m. in the area of Taylor and Weslake Parkway for DUI and too fast for conditions.

FEBRUARY 7

Omar Ramirez, 20, of Romeoville, was arrested at 1:52 p.m. in the 600 block of Palmer for unlawful use of a weapon, fleeing and eluding an officer, illegal window tint and delivery of cannabis.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested at 1:52 p.m. in the 600 block of Palmer for unlawful use of a weapon.

Richard Ortiz, 21, of Romeoville, was arrested at 1:52 p.m. in the 600 block of Palmer for unlawful use of a weapon.

Brian Ortiz, 18, of Romeoville, was arrested at 1:52 p.m. in the 600 block of Palmer for an in-state warrant.

Jason Trujillo, 21, of Romeoville, was arrested at 1:52 p.m. in the 600 block of Palmer for an in-state warrant.

Michael Corbett, 33, of Romeoville, was arrested at 11:06 p.m. in the 300 block of Richmond Dr. for an in-state warrant.

Magdalena Campos, 38, 358 Richmond Dr., Romeoville, was arrested at 11:06 p.m. in the 300 block of Richmond Dr. for an in-state warrant.

FEBRUARY 8

Chanae Bell, 23, 227 Paddington Ln., Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:26 a.m. in the area of Weber and Taylor roads for DUI, improper lighting, no driver’s license on person and possession of drug equipment.

FEBRUARY 10

Tabitha Marshall, 33, 1541 John St., Whiting, Ind., was arrested at 4:43 p.m. in the 400 block of Kenyon for two in-state warrants.

Shakeice Brass, 20, 14212 S. Brass, Plainfield, was arrested at 9:14 p.m. in the area of Taylor and Tahoe for an in-state warrant, DWLS, speeding and disobey stop sign.

FEBRUARY 11

A criminal damage to property was reported at 8:45 p.m. on the 300 block of South Budler Road. An unknown person kicked the car door belonging to a customer of a business at the strip mall.

Estimated cost to repair the damage is $600.

Jose Almaraz, 50, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 6:32 p.m. in the area of Route 53 and Material Road for DUI and improper lane usage.

FEBRUARY 12

On at 3:57 p.m., a 16-year-old juvenile was arrested in the 400 block of South Weber Road for retail theft.

FEBRUARY 13

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported at 2:31 a.m.in the 0-100 block of Windflower Ct. Two unknown people entered a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of residence and took a cell phone charger and flash drive. Total estimated value of the items taken is $45.

A criminal defacement of property was reported at 9:02 a.m. in the 400 block of Arlington. Unknown person(s) spray painted the hood of the vehicle that was parked in the street.

Estimated cost to remove the damage is $300.

FEBRUARY 14

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported at 8:19 a.m. in the 200 block of Heather Court. Unknown person(s) rummaged through a vehicle and took a radio faceplate valued at $50.

A residential burglary was reported at 6:19 p.m.in the 600 block of Iola. Unknown person(s) took several pieces of jewelry from the residence. Total estimated value of the items taken is $7200.

FEBRUARY 15

Dafne Ortega, 20, of Joliet, was arrested at 7:03 p.m. in the area of Route 53 and Airport for an in-state warrant, speeding, no insurance and improper lane usage.

At 6:24 p.m., a 16-year-old juvenile was arrested in the 400 block of South Weber Road for retail theft and resisting an officer.

FEBRUARY 17

Kevin Johnston, 38, of Romeoville, was arrested at 6:57 a.m. in the 400 block of Laurel for an in-state warrant.

Luis Lopez, 18, of Romeoville, was arrested at 7:55 a.m. in the 0-100 block of Kentland Ct. for an in-state warrant.

Joseph Anderson, 23, of Romeoville, was arrested at 8:02 a.m. in the 400 block of Laurel for an in-state warrant.

FEBRUARY 18

Luis Mendez-Sabonge, 34, of Joliet, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. in the 1300 block of Enterprise for theft under $500.

FEBRUARY 19

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported at 2:34 a.m. in the 2000 block of Wheatfield Trail. Unknown person(s) rummaged through a vehicle and took a roll of quarters.

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported at 7:03 a.m.in the 1800 block of South Wentworth Circle. Unknown person(s) rummaged through a vehicle and took auto insurance cards.

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported at 10:29 a.m. in the 1600 block of Rose Lane. Unknown person(s) rummaged through a vehicle but did not take anything.

A motor vehicle theft and burglary to motor vehicle was reported at 10:55 a.m. in the 200 block of Two River Court. Unknown person(s) took a vehicle valued $5000. The key was left in vehicle. Another vehicle had been gone through, but it appears that was taken from it.

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported at 11:40 a.m. in the 2000 block of Tuscany. Unknown person(s) rummaged through a vehicle but did not take anything.

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported at 12:21 p.m. in the 2000 block of Tuscany. Unknown person(s) rummaged through a vehicle but did not take anything.

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported at 12:34 p.m. in the 100 block of Fairfield Drive. Unknown person(s) took several pieces of jewelry from an unlocked vehicle. Total estimated value of the items is $4120.

A criminal defacement to property was reported at 2:05 p.m. in the 100 block of Ferndale Ave. Unknown person(s) drew graffiti on park equipment. Estimated cost to remove the damage is $50.

A retail theft was reported at 11:19 p.m. in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive. An unknown person took an 18-pack of beer valued at $20.94 from the business.

Katia Martinez-Castellanos, 24, of Chicago, was arrested at 11:33 p.m. in the area of Taylor and Budler roads for no valid driver’s license, no insurance, legal transportation of alcohol and improper lighting.

Breyanna Ross, 24, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 11:47 p.m. for an in-state warrant.

FEBRUARY 20,

A retail theft was reported at 3:29 a.m. in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive. An unknown person took a 12-pack of beer valued at $20.94 from the business.

A criminal damage to property was reported at 4:18 p.m. in the 200 block of East Daisy Circle. Unknown person(s) broke a window at the residence doing $300 in damage.

A motor vehicle theft occurred at 6:44 a.m. in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive. Unknown person(s) took a pickup truck valued at $11,000 from the parking lot of the business.

Colleen Giroux, 19, of Oak Forest, was arrested at 11:07 p.m. in the area of Taylor and Harmony for possession of cannabis and unlawful use of a weapon.

FEBRUARY 21,

Gabriel Rangel, 18, of Romeoville, was arrested at 6:29 p.m. in the 400 block of South Weber Road for possession of cannabis and delivery of cannabis.

Amanda Salois, 18, of Plainfield, was arrested at 6:29 p.m. in the 400 block of South Weber Road for possession of cannabis, delivery of cannabis and possession of drug equipment.

FEBRUARY 22

Kenneth Myles, 62, of Calumet City, was arrested at 10:48 a.m. in the 1000 block of Romeo Road for an in-state warrant.
