Note to readers: Information in Police Blotter is obtained from Bolingbrook Police Departments and the Will County Sheriff’s Office. Individuals listed in Police Blotter charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

APRIL 19

  • Andrea Hunter, 40, of Uthonia, Ga., was charged with an in-state warrant, credit card fraud and theft, following a call to Pizza Hut, 503 W. Boughton Rd., at 1:58 p.m.
  • Regena Barker, 50, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Rd. at 10:19 a.m.
  • Sonya Sanchez, 49, of Romeoville, was charged with DUI and improper lane usage, following a traffic stop at Barbers Corner and Boughton roads at 11:10 p.m.

APRIL 20

  • Officers were called to Ava Ct. for the report of a residential burglary. Unknown subject broke a rear door between 8–10:42 a.m. Designer purses, lock box, MacBook, back pack, jewelry, credit cards and checkbook were taken. Loss valued at $7,600.
  • A designer wristlet and cash was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway on the 2300 block of River Hills Dr. at 1:50 p.m.

APRIL 21

Steven Schroll, 32, of Elmwood, Lindsey Sheldon–Padron, 34, of Elmwood, and Stacy Bouquet, of Joliet, were charged with theft, following a call to a business on the 12200 block of Disk Rd. for suspicious persons at 3:19 a.m.

APRIL 22

  • Unknown subject cut cable to gated area and removed four riding lawn mowers from Home Depot, 105 N. Weber Rd. at 3:13 a.m. Loss valued at $5900.
  • Marek Komperda, 52, of Bolingbrook, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage and no insurance, following a traffic stop at Lily Cache Ln. and Veterans Pkwy. at 4:32 a.m.

APRIL 23

  • Officers responded to a business on the 12000 block of Disk Rd. several times for the report of a theft. Unknown subject removed numerous deep cycle batteries from a mobile traffic board between April 19-23.
  • A wallet, credit cards and cash was taken from a secured locker on the 500 block of N. Janes Ave. between 4–5:57 p.m.
  • Thomas Lopez, 30, of Bolingbrook, was charged with two counts of DUI, driving on a suspended license, improper lighting and failure to yield, following a traffic stop at Plainview Dr. and Shady Ln. at 9:51 p.m.
  • Officers were called to Meijer, 225 N. Weber Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject concealed several bottles of alcohol and exited the store at 1:55 am without rendering payment. Loss valued at $115.

APRIL 24

  • Matthew Jackson, 26, of Bolingbrook, was charged with two counts of DUI and improper lane usage, following a traffic stop at Chesapeake Dr. and Rockhurst Rd. at 2:33 p.m.
  • Jamari Hoy, 22, of Chicago, was charged with aggravated assault, speeding, failure to yield and resisting a peace officer, following a traffic stop on the 1400 block of Waterside Dr. at 8:15 a.m.
  • Sergio Gloria, 24, of Joliet was charged with an in-state warrant, following a patrol stop on the 500 block of Falconridge Way at 1:45 p.m.

APRIL 25

Jake O’Brien, 23, of Minooka, was charged with two counts of DUI and improper lane usage, following a traffic stop at Arrowhead Ln. and Bolingbrook Dr. at 2:52 a.m.
