Note to readers: Information in Police Blotter is obtained from Bolingbrook Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office. Individuals listed in Police Blotter charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

BOLINGBROOK

DECEMBER 22

A laptop, wallet and coat were taken from a vehicle parked on the 300 block of Veterans Pkwy between 4:30–5:11 p.m.

Jonathan Anderson, 25, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an out of state warrant, at 7:40 p.m.

DECEMBER 23

Officers were called to Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Road for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject exited the store at 5:22 a.m. with a cart full of unpaid merchandise and drove off.

Ryan Lewthwaite, 34, of Bolingbrook, was charged with domestic battery and resisting a peace officer, following a call to the residence for a domestic dispute at 2:59 p.m.

DECEMBER 26

A wallet and cash was taken after being dropped in a business on the 1200 block of 115th St. at 11:28 a.m. The wallet was later located in the parking lot the currency was still missing. Loss valued at $200.

Laticia Ingram, 37, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, at 10:49 a.m.

DECEMBER 28

Tykeni Thornton, 26, of Chicago, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a patrol stop on the 800 block of Remington Blvd. at 4:24 p.m.

The glass window of a business on the 100 block of E. Boughton Road was shattered with a landscaping brick. Video showed unknown subjects entered the store at 3:40 a.m. and remove several phones. Loss valued at $2600.

DECEMBER 30

Miguel Hernandez, 48, of Romeoville, was charged with DUI and too fast for conditions, following a traffic stop at Edgehill Drive and Bolingbrook Drive at 5:53 p.m.

DECEMBER 31

Officers responded to the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive for the report of an armed robbery. Unknown subjects approached the victim, displayed a handgun and demanded money at 8 p.m. Loss valued at $33.

Officers were called to Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Road for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subjects selected numerous bottles of cologne, perfume and razor blade packages between 3:42–3:45 p.m. and exited the store without rendering payment. Loss valued at $1169.

Marlene Torres, 33, of Bolingbrook, was charged with resisting a peace officer and domestic battery, following a call to the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive at 11:11 p.m.

JANUARY 1

Officers responded to a business on the 600 block of E. Boughton Road for the report of a burglary. Suspect entered the locked business and removed cash form register at 8:45 p.m. Loss valued at $300.

Kenneth Ward, 62, of Joliet, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol and two counts of DUI, following a traffic stop on the 500 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive at 4:38 p.m.

Terrence Johnson, 19, and Diamond Fondren, 19, both of Chicago, Tia Hendricks, 25, and Latonya Mallit, 24, both of Bolingbrook, were charged with resisting a peace officer following a call to the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, at 1:36 p.m.

JANUARY 2

Officers responded to the 100 block of Lexington Dr. for the report of a theft. Unknown subject removed cash from safe between 6–6:30 a.m.

JANUARY 3

Joseph Blakemore, 31, of Bolingbrook, was charged with two in-state warrants, obstructing justice, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment following a traffic stop on the 1200 block of Lily Cache Lane, at 7:25 p.m.

JANUARY 4

Keyon Dunagan, 38, of South Holland, was charged with reckless conduct and unlawful use of weapon, following a call to the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive at 12:13 a.m.

JANUARY 10

Officers were called to Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subjects exited the store with a cart full of merchandise without rendering payment. Loss valued at $264.

JANUARY 11

Christina Phillips, 27, of Aurora, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a call to the 200 block of N. Weber Road for a domestic disturbance at 9:56 p.m.

JANUARY 12

Nicholas Vega, 22, of Romeoville, was charged with two in-state warrants, following a patrol stop on the 100 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive at 1:58 am.

JANUARY 13

Officers were called to Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject exited the store with two electronic razors without rendering payment at 12:05 p.m. Loss valued at $950.

Donald Dascenzo, 72, 503 Kildeer Dr., was charged with violation of stalking no contact order, following a call to the 500 block of Kildeer Dr. at 5:50 am.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Greystone Ln., for the report of a trespass to residence. Unknown subjects entered through a rear window between 12:25-12:40 p.m. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

Judith Steeky, 28, of was charged with too fast for conditions and two counts of DUI, following a traffic stop at 2:55 am.

JANUARY 14

Cornell Hentz, 50, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Schmidt Road and Remington Blvd. at 7:39 am.

JANUARY 15

Lance Smith, 43, of Avon, Ind., was charged with DUI, following a traffic stop on the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 11:30 p.m.

JANUARY 17

Jerome Baker, 47, of Bolingbrook was charged with aggravated assault, domestic battery and unlawful restraint, following a call to the 600 block of Preston Dr. for a domestic disturbance at 12:07 am.

A 2012 Ford Escape was taken from a business parking lot on the 700 block of Janes Ave. at 2 p.m. It was later located in Willowbrook. Keys and a cellphone were still missing.
