Alvin M. Howard, 62, of Joliet, was arrested on the 400 block of Sugar Creek Drive for disobeying a stop sign and DUI.
Suspect cut down the front gate to a business on the 27000 block of S. Frontage Road, entered the property, and stole 24 tires from a storage container.
Marcos Ramirez-Espinoza, 34, of Joliet, was arrested on the 1300 block of Brandon Road for illegal stopping/parking, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no valid driver’s license, and DUI.

Carlos R. Mendoza, 29, of Plainfield, was arrested at 1:25 p.m. near Black Road and Summit Creek Drive after his vehicle was stopped for a speeding violation. He was charged with speeding (35+ mph over limit).

A 16-year-old Joliet juvenile was arrested at 1:41 p.m. near Jefferson and Cottage streets after his vehicle was stopped for a speeding violation. He was charged with no valid driver’s license and speeding (35mph over limit).

Name: Craig A. Hufford, 30, of Shorewood, was arrested at 9:51 a.m. on the 19700 block of NE Frontage Road during a warrant service detail for a failure to appear warrant (residential burglary) out of Putnam County.
