The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the shooting that occurred in the 2300 block of Maple Ave. in unincorporated Downers Grove the afternoon of Monday, May 22.
DuPage County Sheriff’s Office reports that the shooting was not random and the victim was targeted by an acquaintance. The suspect fled the area after the incident and the residents in the area are not in danger. At this time as to not jeopardize the investigation or future prosecution no further details are available.
