Information in Police Reports is obtained from the Niles, Morton Grove and Park Ridge police departments. Individuals in the Police Blotter who have been charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Niles
Battery
Haitham Hanna, 46, of Niles, was charged with domestic battery on Nov. 21. Hanna is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 8.
Burglary to Vehicle
- On Nov. 18, police said a car was forcibly entered in the 200 block of Golf Mill Center and a purse was reported stolen from the front seat.
- A purse containing $600 in cash and a money order for $660 was reportedly stolen overnight between Nov. 19 and Nov. 20 from a car parked in the 8500 block of Golf Road, police said.
- A car parked in the 7700 block of Milwaukee Avenue was forcibly entered and ransacked on the night of Nov. 19, police said.
- Three cars parked in a lot in the 9100 block of Milwaukee Avenue were broken into on the night of Nov. 19, police said. Items reported stolen included two purses and a bag containing a wallet, clothing, makeup and keys, according to police.
- A GPS device was stolen between Nov. 23 and Nov. 24 from a car parked in the 8200 block of Newland Avenue, police said.
- Two video games, a leather portfolio, a textbook and a backpack were reported stolen Nov. 24 from a car that was possibly left unlocked behind an apartment building in the 8600 block of Milwaukee Avenue, police said.
- An evening dress was reported stolen overnight between Nov. 23 and Nov. 24 from an unlocked car parked in the 7800 block of Greenleaf Street.
- Two unlocked cars were burglarized overnight between Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 while parked in a driveway in the 7800 block of Lill Court, police said. A garage opener was reportedly stolen from one of the cars.
Possession
Joseph Guiragossian, 28, Chicago, was charged with speeding on Nov. 25 after police said he was traveling 70 mph in a 35 mph speed zone near Gross Point Road and Howard Street. Guiragossian was also ticketed for possession of marijuana, police said. Guiragossian is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 13.
Theft
- Janyssa Young, 22, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft on Nov. 18 after she allegedly stole $511.83 worth of merchandise from a store in the 200 block of Golf Mill Center. Young is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 3.
- On the night of Nov. 18, a woman was reportedly seen walking out of a store in the 7900 block of Milwaukee Avenue carrying a shopping basket filled with unpaid, over-the-counter medication. The medication was valued at $547, police said.
- A bicycle valued at $300 was reportedly stolen on the night of Nov. 18 from the 6900 block of West Oakton Street.
Morton Grove
Warrant
Daniel L Radloff, 59, of Skokie arrested Nov. 26on a warrant for a battery and retail theft that occurred in Morton Grove in January 2015.
Williams, 45, of Morton Grove, was arrested Nov. 29 for on a warrant out of Morton Grove.
Possession of Cannabis under 30 grams
Yvonne Garro, 25, of Chicago, was stopped Nov. 30 for speeding and was issued a Morton Grove local citation for possession of cannabis under 30 grams and possession.
David Youkhana, 26, of Norwood Park was stopped Dec. 1 for traffic violation on the 6000 block of Dempster and issued a Morton Grove citation for possession of cannabis.
Mardeek Mkrdichian, 24, of Glenview,was stopped Dec. 1 for traffic violation near Overlook and Golf and issued a Morton Grove citation for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.

Juan Rodriguez, 31, of Elgin, was stopped Dec. 1 near Oakton and Linder for traffic violation and arrested for driving with license expired more than one year.
DUI
Dani Shahbaz, 37, of Skokie, was stopped Dec. 3 for traffic violation near Harms and Golf. He failed field sobriety testing and was arrested for DUI. Suspect refused to provide breath or blood sample
Retail Theft
Anila Agaku, 41, of Chicago, was arrested Dec. 4 for retail theft in the 7200 block of Dempster.
Theft
Complainant stated someone stole their unlocked bike Nov. 29 from Village Plaza.
Complainant stated someone stole the spare tire off his vehicle Nov. 30 on the 7200 block of Arcadia.
Fraud
Complainant stated Dec. 2 someone wrote fraudulent checks on a business account on the 6000 block of Oakton.
Unlawful Use of Credit Card
Complainant, a self-employed limousine driver, stated he received a call Dec. 1 from a potential client who asked him to charge a credit card deposit the amount and send him the remaining balance into a bank account. This occurred multiple times before the complainant received notification a fraud investigation was opened by the credit card company.

On Nov. 23 at approximately 1p.m. unknown offender(s) took a debit and a credit card out of the victim’s purse in Panera on the 0-100 blk of Northwest Hwy. The cards were used in another jurisdiction.
Sometime between Nov. 27 and Nov. 28 unknown offender(s) removed a red cougar statue from Carpenter school on 300 block of Hamlin by unknown means.
On Nov. 30 unknown offender(s) removed a locked bicycle from the bike rack in the lot of a Metra Station on the 900 block of Busse Hwy. by unknown means.
Between Nov. 29 and Nov. 30 unknown offender(s) removed a locked bicycle from the bike rack in the lot of a Metra Station on the 900 block of Busse Hwy. by unknown means.
Between Nov. 29 and Nov. 30 unknown offender(s) took the victim’s wallet on the 800 block of Park Plaine by unknown means.
Between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 unknown offender(s) removed Christmas decorations from the victim’s front yard on the 100 block of N Merrill.
Credit Card Fraud
Sometime between Nov. 21 and Nov. 22 unknown offender(s) removed a wallet containing credit cards from a locked 2009 Chevy Suburban on the 800 block of Hastings by unknown means. The credit cards were used in Park Ridge.
Burglary
Between Nov. 12 and Nov. 29 unknown offender(s) removed items from an apartment on the 700 block of Busse by unknown means.
On Nov. 29 between 11:15 a.m.-2:12 p.m. unknown offender(s) entered the victim’s home on the 200 block of Lincolnby unknown means and removed jewelry.
Criminal Damage to Property
On Nov. 26 unknown offender(s) removed wooden planks from the victim’s fence and Christmas decorations from the victim’s yard on the 400 block of Leonard
Between Nov. 28 and Nov. 29 unknown offender(s) damaged a street sign on the 800 block of Glenlake by unknown means.
Burglary from Motor Vehicle
Between Nov. 28 and Nov. 29 unknown offender(s) entered a 2017 Subaru Outback on the 1200 block of Knight and removed the victim’s wallet containing identification and credit cards. The cards were used in another jurisdiction.
